Another busy week in Grade 2! The students enjoyed their treat today for filling their bucket. We had a relaxing day in pajamas watching a movie and eating popcorn!
What an eventful week in our classroom! The students worked so hard on their Innovation Projects and the there was much progress throughout the week. Our resident expert this year, Suzanne Presinal came in to support the students in their work. We will be continuing with it next week as we put the finishing touches and reflect on what we created. The students are excited to present their work at Student Led Conferences on March 22nd and 23rd.
Wow! What a busy week! We have been working hard to prepare for Innovation Week. We are thinking of an animal who is losing its home and what we can do to fix the problem. The struggles we are having is that our project needs to be innovative which means finding a new and different solution to the problem. We are going to be talking to our parents over the weekend to help us improve our idea and make it unique. Our parents need to sign the sheet we are bringing home to show they have spoken with us about it. Any sheets not completed in school need to be finished at home and brought back on Monday.
On Monday we need to bring our materials ready for Day 1 of our challenge. |
