What a wonderful Garden Party! Thank you to all the volunteers today who helped set everything up. A special thank you to Joanna for helping to organize this with the parents. The students had a great time!
The students had so much fun today traveling to Nova Scotia. They will have many stories to share!
Please remember tomorrow is our Garden Party! We have talked about the fun of dressing up yet there is no obligation if your child prefers not to. We will be playing games and having a picnic outside on the field from 1.30pm. Thank you again for the donations and to the volunteers who are helping to organize this special event for the students. We are excitedly learning all about Nova Scotia this week. The students are going on a virtual vacation as we explore the area and discover the differences between here and there. Today, we looked at the weather forecast and packed our suitcases. Tomorrow, we will be boarding the plane and heading off on our adventure! The students have been asked to wear their vacation clothes, such as sunglasses, sunhat, and anything else they wish to to help them get into the holiday spirit.
We will be celebrating our Grade 2 year with an English style Garden Party on Thursday June 21st in the afternoon. Thank you to our volunteers and to the parents donating food. The students are excited and are already looking forward to dressing up and playing games with their friends!
If you have some time to pop over and say hello, you are welcome to do so. Please do not come through the school, we will be out on the field where we will be easy to find. Plan to arrive from 1.30pm as volunteers will be busy setting everything up prior to that time.
